2025 Buffalo Bills

so close and fell short again.......

looking like pats and hawks, hawks might win this one
I would have went with denver with Nix out, don't think they will do well

McDermott out.

Told ya.

I've come around somewhat. Could be good for both? BUF gives up a lot of points in playoff games under MAC.

Lots of openings. Maybe he gets another shot. If I was him I would try for AZ. It's a good spot to retire anyways. Maybe the Raiders?

Robert Sala going to TENN. Wow. Kinda desperate? He was not good at NYJ. I don't know? SF defense was pretty good in the red zone I guess?

Considering how injured we were on defense, I think Saleh did a good job with the young guys on defense. We’ll be sad to see him go.

It was a disaster for him with the Jets. But I think Aaron Rodgers was the actual one running that team.

Tennessee is another shit-show but at least it’s a younger team with nobody like an Aaron Rodgers.

If there is a Defensive coordinator of the year award he should win it.

I'm not sure he's the guy you hire to develop your young QB. Can he get Daboll to join him? I like Saleh as a HC just don't know if this is the right fit for him. What will be unfortunate is that if it doesn't go well HC's rarely get a 3rd bite at the HC job apple.

Yea, that’s a good point. They have a huge investment in Cam Ward and they need to develop him.

Saleh is fine as long as they pair him with a really good offensive coordinator for a few years. I’m skeptical of that happening.

Hopefully it all goes to shit and Saleh rejoins the 49ers as the permanent DC.

A recent story I heard after McDermott's firing was that 10 years ago he had just finished the season as defensive coordinator for the Panthers and the Browns were once again looking for a head coach. The Browns brass favored hiring McDermott by a 4-1 vote. Unfortunately the one vote against was the owner's and he was set on Hue Jackson who over the next 3+ seasons went 3-36-1 as the Brown's coach.

(Another one I heard was the situation between ex-Browns coach, recent Falcons hire, Kevin Stefanski and Shedeur Sanders. There was no-love-loss between Dion Sanders and ex-MLB player turned broadcaster Tim McCarver. Tim McCarver is Stefanski's father-in-law.)

The Bills are screwed. They are trying to blame McDermott for their failings while ignoring all of their actual failings he has tried to warm them about. Now they've fired the guy to silence him, but when they enter next season with a new coach and the same old problems, you can kiss any hopes of the Bills getting to the Super Bowl anytime soon goodbye.

The owner made a huge mistake having that press conference! It's not his forte & it showed as he looked like an absolute fool trying to "pass the buck" concerning the firing of their coach, McDermott! Who talks about their players crying over an injustice due to officiating? They're still whining about "the catch" that wasn't when ruled an interception! :nono: 😢😭

There were a number of very dubious calls by the refs that changed the outcome of the game. Had things been just a little bit different, the Bills would have WON that game, beaten the Broncos (who will lose to the Pats anyway without Nix), and be in the AFC Conference Championship game this Sunday, and they'd stand a good chance of beating the Patriots.

Which means the Bills came within a shave of going to the Super Bowl.

Yep, McDermott, what a bum. Better fire him now. :smoke:

Shakir can 100% stretch the field. The Bills can stretch the field that's not been their problem.
Keon Coleman was going to be their deep threat guy, but he's apparently a bust. They have arguably the best QB in the league without an elite deep threat receiver. And now they have a brand new unproven HC.

Deion dumped a bucket of water on media McCarver (from behind) in a post game clubhouse celebration microphone interview of Braves? Then the troublemaker Deion giggled as McCarver pointed him out lurking behind bigger players as "you're a real man Deion etc."

But tough as nails former catcher 64' WS champ 7 games over NYY 1964 with good offensive contributions. "McTalker" did not punch Deion the punk on camera.

I think Buffalo is going after AJ Brown. That’s the number one guy on the radar.
I can see that if Philly wants to trade him. If it were me I'd go for Pierce. He's younger, taller, faster and can jump higher than AJ Brown and hasn't displayed prima donna traits like AJ Brown has.

I'm still shocked by that incident! It was so malicious, while people still think Sanders is charming! I couldn't get over him doing that not once, but twice! Carver kept his cool, almost congratulating Deion for being so petulant as he recovered from being douced w/ water on live TV! :( :stir: :dunno:
