You aint got one hot take because you don't know anything. You can talk Xs and Os all day. The real X factor is chemistry. The NFL and other sports are too political. You can't have players kneeling down for the national anthem and other stupid shit. Offensive lineman are conservative white guys. That's the real reason no GM/owner in his right mind even considered Kaepernick.
My hot take is to hell with the woke NFLJust started my research of the upcoming NFL season and thought I'd start a pre-season thread on hot takes. Here is my first one:
The Bears will have more wins than the Packers.
Sure the Bears are probably being overhyped coming into this season with the new QB and offensive system, but people forget how good the Bears defense is with a league leading 22 int's last year. Also, the Bears have a super soft schedule while the Packers go from 24th easiest to 4th most difficult. On the other hand, I think the Packers are being even more overhyped based on a back half of the 2023 season success story.
So what are your hot takes?
It will be interesting to see if Henry gets back to his 5+ YPC average. Very possible at his age and build, but who knows. My team is the Chiefs. But the Ravens got King Henry. To me that makes them the favorite to win the superbowl. King Henry and Lamar Jackson in the same backfeild? That's going to be difficult to stop.
White characteristics? There are a bunch of white QBS who never won a superbowl. And more who never made it to one. Jim Plunett was a Native American, and I believe he won 2 super bowls. Jackson has plenty to win a Super bowl.It will be interesting to see if Henry gets back to his 5+ YPC average. Very possible at his age and build, but who knows.
As far as Jackson. Guy might or might have enough leadership and smarts material to win it all. You have to have brains in that role. Only three black quarterbacks were starters on winning super bowl teams. Let's face it; Wilson and Mahomes have white characteristics. That's what gets you Ws. Hell, American Indians probably have higher IQs than blacks, and we're not winning a super bowl any time soon. lol
I think Jordan Love is overrated. I watched him play at Utah State and he was not all that. He came on at the end of last season, so we will see. I watched Caleb Williams play at both OU and USC. People have compared Wiliams with Mahomes. Patrick Mahomes was throwing for 5-600 yeards in games in his senior year. And in fact he had big numbers his junior year. Williams did not come close to what Mahomes was doing and he had more talent around him.The Packers are not overrated, they are an amazing team offensively, added Jacobs, who led the league in rushing 2 years ago, and they beefed up their defense, they are one of the top 3 teams in the NFC, and the NFC is way better overall than the AFC.
As someone who has not missed a Bears game in the past 25 years, I can tell you this Bears team is different. They have a fast, fired up defense, and it is the best defense in the NFC North, and will be one of the best in the NFC, the offense is loaded with weapons, but it might take time to gel. The Packers gelled last season and are going to come out the gate full speed.
Minnesota will be solid, good coaching up there, decent offense, suspect defense. The Lions might regress from last years Championship game, but I think this year it will be the Packers winning the division.
Hot Take:
QB Controversy in N.E., I think Joe Milton III was a 3rd round draft pick, can probably outplay Drake Maye if he can be a little more accurate.
And there are a many blacks who never made it to the super bowl, but we're not talking about that, math major. Blacks are disproportionately underrepresented in super bowl wins.White characteristics? There are a bunch of white QBS who never won a superbowl. And more who never made it to one. Jim Plunett was a Native American, and I believe he won 2 super bowls. Jackson has plenty to win a Super bowl.
So here we have a gay racist.
Yes, Punkett was Native American and Mexican. And let's see, how many black players have actually contributed to Super bowl wins? A lot. Blacks have shown they can play QB in the NFL and blacks have won super bowls at QB. In the future most of the Super bowls will be won by black QBS.And there are a many blacks who never made it to the super bowl, but we're not talking about that, math major. Blacks are disproportionately underrepresented in super bowl wins.
btw, Plunkett in not Native American.
Lamar Jackson: "It feel good."
Learn to talk, pal.

Williams was not comparable to Mahomes in college. I live in Big 12 country. Mahones had less talent than Wiliams had in every season and he still put up huge numbers. Wliliams may end up a good player, but I doubt he will be a Patrick Mahomes.Williams last year he was played iin bubble wrap by Lincoln Riley, no defense, spotty offensive line, sure number one overall pick. Go back to the sophomore season and look at what he did. Comparable to Mahomes for sure. Think he won 12 games. He has the intangibles Mahomes has. He had good receviers but the team was not built to compete, they had to put up 50 to win games. I definitely thiink Williams has what it takes to win.
In regards to Love, all he needs is confidence, and I think he has it. Remember, in Green Bay, it's the system that is proven. It has developed QB's there since 1992. Over 30 years now they have developed NFL leading QB's.
Yeah, but it's the Bengals. The AFC North is the strongest division in football. It has 1 super bowl conteder and 3 wild card contenders.
- The Ravens have their defensive culture and their skilled returning MVP Lamar Jackson
- The Bengals have Joe Burrow and his multiple stud WR core that can light up the NFL if healthy
- The Browns have Watson and Chubb back, among 10 starters that got injured on a roster that made the playoffs last year
- The Steelers return an elite defense with a solid QB in Russell Wilson (the media shits on him while his numbers last year were 3000+ yards, 26 TD's, 8 INT's).
It's going to be a slugfest. No easy games in division.
