2017 Tax Reform

The government isn’t supposed to fund “scientific research” you ignorant progressive parasite. Fund it yourself if you want it funded. Oh wait - that’s right - you’re a fucking progressive parasite with no money. Sorry, forgot.
Again, your made-up, invented, on-the-spot standard doesn't apply.
The progressive parasite here isn’t even capable of reading the U.S. Constitution :lmao:

Fall down hilarious. It’s astounding how ignorant progressives are. The left needs an uneducated electorate so they leverage propaganda to keep their voters that way...

I have no doubt if you went to a "patriot" meeting, you would see them disapprove of Trump's tax plan if they were told it was Hillary's tax plan.

That’s because you’re ignorant and use to being around fellow ignorant progressives. The fact is, conservatives are informed. Far more so than progressives. Which is why conservative talk radio is a cash cow while they can’t even keep progressive talk radio on the air.

Lets say I'm a construction worker with a $100K salary. By your tax plan I would pay $10K in taxes at the end of the year. correct?

Now Lets say you are a contractor working for yourself and you also earn $100K in income. However, to make that $100K, you had to pay out $40K in labor, $20K in equipment, and $10K in other expenses making your NET income $30K. Do you still think its fair for you to have to pay $10K in taxes at the end of the year?

Any reasonable, rational person would agree that we should have a universal flat tax. It’s sad that we can’t overhaul our entire idiotic tax code because some people are greedy and fear a drop off of revenue to the federal government (and thus a drop off in what they receive).

The fact is, eliminating all tax write-offs and loopholes would increase revenues to the government. The wealthy would not be able to hire tax attorneys to hide money in tax shelters. The poor would not have to spend money they can’t afford to spend on CPA’s because filing taxes is too complex. It’s a win-win on all fronts.

We should start off with a 10% flat income tax and a 25% flat corporate tax. No tax exemptions (period). In addition, we should add a consumption tax in order to capture some tax dollars lost by criminals who engage in cash only transactions (drugs, prostitution, gambling, etc.). They still have to purchase clothing, personal hygiene items, etc. and we can close that gap with a consumption tax.

It's Time to Reform Our Tax Code. Let's Do Something Historic.

I like it, not sure what the rate should be but agree on the rest!

Likewise when the rich say the estate tax is double taxation. But that isn't necessarily the case because of the difference between wealth and income.

Regardless of claims of the ignorant neoconned f1cktards on the Right, the estate tax plays the role of a capital gains tax and there is no double taxation.
there already is a capital gains tax.

What the f1ck is it with the gawd-damned flaming ignorance of retards who are too stupid to understand that the estate tax is a substitute for the capital gains tax?

My God, you are a very special kind of stupid. Astounding stupidity. Astounding.

Then why do we need it? We have the capital gains tax. You’re saying it’s redundant.

Listen junior...the U.S. Constitution is pretty short. Ask an adult to read it to you. The states delegated 18 enumerated powers to the federal government and “disease control” isn’t one of them.

That's because it falls under the "general welfare and common defense" clause. The CDC literally defends us from disease. I can't help it that you don't know what you're saying and are just flaming the board because you're either paid to do it or you crave the attention.

The corporate tax and the individual tax should be the same rate.

If we are going to have an income tax ( should we have an income tax is also a great question) then all income no matter from what source should be taxed from the first dollar at the same rate.

Neither one of those are an enumerated power, you junior high dropout. :lmao:

Those are powers granted under the 18 enumerated powers. Rather than specifically list all 1.2 million things the federal government could do under defense, they simply said “for the general welfare and common defense”. But those are not the 19th and 20th enumerated powers.

Nah. I’m happy to stick corporations with the bill. They benefit far more from government services than I do. I’ve never once used a railroad for anything. Corporations ship their products across the country on them. Why should I pay for the infrastructure they need to conduct business?

Dude...it just proposed dropping their tax rate by over 10%. That would be one of the lowest corporate tax rates in U.S. history. Did you even read what I actually said? What the fuck more do you want?!?

There is no such thing as a Tax Cut only Spending Cuts!
Increasing deficit spending just taxes you with sky high prices!

It’s such a shame that the left is so uneducated and so ideological. We have the blueprint for prosperity. History has proven time and time again what works (conservatism) and what doesn’t (progressivism). We lose so many jobs and so many opportunities for prosperity due to the cancer known as progressivism...
"We turn away enough people to fill another drive-in on the weekends, but I don't have enough money to expand, between the taxes and regulations," says Susan Kochevar.
We see this every day across America. Lost opportunities for expansion. For wealth. For jobs. For prosperity. All because of failed left-wing socialism. The left wants Venezuela and the former U.S.S.R. when we could have prosperity that even surpasses the U.S. at its peak.

How Tax Reform Could Empower This Drive-in Theater Owner to Expand Her Business

Stuff like this illustrates the extraordinary ignorance of the left. Their greed blinds them to basic economics, basic business, and basic common sense.
After a lengthy inquiry, the committee found that the company had avoided tens of billions of dollars in taxes by shifting profits into Irish subsidiaries that the panel’s chairman called “ghost companies.”
If the U.S. had the lowest corporate tax rate in the world, guess where every company in the U.S. (and most around the globe) would stash their cash? If you’re not a progressive - you guessed it. In the U.S. Instead of “losing” billions in taxes (as progressives see it), we would be gaining trillions in taxes. Consider the following:
Apple has accumulated more than $128 billion in profits offshore, and probably much more, that is untaxed by the United States and hardly touched by any other country. Nearly all of that was made over the past decade.
If we had even a 10% tax rate, Apple would have gladly brought that money home and we would have generated $12.8 billion in additional tax revenues.

Instead of losing tens of billions in taxes from Apple (as they stashed their cash overseas to avoid the highest corporate tax rates in the world), we could have gained more than twelve billion just from them. Lower tax rates would result in exponentially higher tax revenues to the government. But the left is just too greedy (and stupid) to understand that.
