2014 was hottest year on record- When will GOP get it?

Paint your roofs white, take public transportation, eat vegan, stop having children and give over all your money to climate saviors .....before its too late !!!!
Sustainable / Green "energy " alternatives only ! Because its effecient...... Lol

Humans survived massive climate change with 15,000 BC technology.

These AGW scam artist aren't going to scare anybody. Hell, even Al Gore bought beach front property.

Don't you realize that is what we want to avoid?

How are you going to control the climate on planet Earth?

Well if you haven't heard the world experts say lets stop releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

Are you a part of this selective hearing brigade who can't hear solutions.

Science shouldn't be a Red and Blue issue..

But you can't point to a single lab experiment that links these low doses of CO2 with temperature, correct?
There is no experiment that proves CO2 is a major climate driver. But, let me ask you this, what experiments "proves" that changes in solar output can drive climate change? What experiments "proves" that a large meteor impact can drive climate change on earth? Or Milankovitch cycles? Or plate tectonics?

The only way to conduct a climate change experiment, complete with controls and everything, would require constructing life-size realistic models of the planet Earth, and then experimenting away. Unfortunately, such experiments are impossible, and more unfortunately, such experiments are the level of proof that some deniers are demanding.

Fortunately, the scientific method uses experiments and/or OBSERVATIONS. Stick CO2 in a long glass tube, shoot a beam of infrared light through it, and you’ll record less energy coming out the other side. The CO2 absorbs, or blocks some of the energy. This is because CO2 is a greenhouse gas, and absorbing energy in the longwave frequencies is one of its properties.[1]

There is no reason to believe that greenhouse gases behave differently in the atmosphere. Sure, the atmosphere is a chaotic system with many influences, but simple physical properties don't just magically stop working when the system becomes more chaotic.

As, for Galileo and gravity – if you drop different two objects of different sizes off of the Tower of Pisa, then it’s pretty obvious that objects fall/accelerate at the same rate. If you drop those two same objects from 5 miles up, then the experiment is not so clear; wind currents and friction will also play a role. Just because the system is more chaotic, doesn’t disprove Galileo’s original experiment though.

Above, Antarcticice has provided a simple experiment that you can try at home.

What experiment proves Co2 is a major climate change driver

IOW- Yours is a ridiculous question.

IOW- Yours is a ridiculous question.

You absolutely can't have it both ways. you can't tell us,

CO2 Glacier Eating Spaghetti Monster GONNA KILLZ US ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!

and then tell us,

well, no, I can't show you how 120PPM of CO2 can even raise temperature in a lab because there are too many other variables.

See how it fails?

Amazing the power some greedy idiot billionaires have over the GOP and the chumps. Climategates- no one in the real world cares. BS obscurities.

Amazing how the power of bullshit and misinformation has over idiots such as yourself who was gullible enough to believe the lies. :cuckoo:

Hey franco. You missed the update.

NASA has said that now they are only 38% sure that 2014 was the hottest year on record.

The bozos fucked up again.

:lmao:

Of course you can duh. It's in my post, and any HS student can do THAT, dingbat.

Doesn't mean that at all...it's called science. Noahh or whatever said they were 48% sure. Scientists don't lie. Except for those bought off by the Kochs and big oil and Fox etc etc etc...

No it's called bullshit and hype no matter how you play it. They put out their report that definitively 2014 was without a doubt the hottest year ever on record.

By Monday they were backtracking. Unfreaking real.

And Scientists who are in the back pocket of politicians, governments and companies who are funding their research lie.

"In a press release on Friday, Nasa’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) claimed its analysis of world temperatures showed ‘2014 was the warmest year on record’.

The claim made headlines around the world, but yesterday it emerged that GISS’s analysis – based on readings from more than 3,000 measuring stations worldwide – is subject to a margin of error.

Nasa admits this means it is far from certain that 2014 set a record at all.

Yet the Nasa press release failed to mention this, as well as the fact that the alleged ‘record’ amounted to an increase over 2010, the previous ‘warmest year’, of just two-hundredths of a degree – or 0.02C.

The margin of error is said by scientists to be approximately 0.1C – several times as much.

As a result, GISS’s director Gavin Schmidt has now admitted Nasa thinks the likelihood that 2014 was the warmest year since 1880 is just 38 per cent.

However, when asked by this newspaper whether he regretted that the news release did not mention this, he did not respond. "

I guess you missed this recant huh....

Still, without the El Nino, combined with the lowest solar activity in a hundred years, being that close to 2010 for the hottest month on record is still something.

"Lowest solar activity in 100 years", based on what exactly?

Actually, that explains the decline your side is hiding

Sunspot activity.

There should be a decline. But something is keeping the temperature up.

Like I said, it's more in line with the decline the AGWCult is hiding
