It will be next week before a real number is put out with some people never found. But if you go there you can see the land around the river has had floods for many years. People still want to take chance and move closer, so they don't have to walk so far to the water.

Go there and see the land and you can tell they have had floods forever there. All of Texas has been under water twice. The Guadalupe Mountains on the border with New Mexico is really a ancient coral reef from one of the under water times.
