"What he did was very brave, but officers are trained in these active shooter situations (but) he was outgunned, out-maneuvered," said acting Houston Police Chief Martha Montalvo.

Another bouncer, Jonathan Baer drew his concealed handgun and shot Hjelmeland, killing him.

Following the attack Baer posted to Facebook: “I did what I felt was right to stop the shooter…I carry every day, and will continue to, and will so with the hope that I will NEVER have to pull it out again.”

The cops were certainly there, and they are the ones who resolved the issue in this particular case, not the good guy with the gun.

And two highly trained cops were also shot........and it took them an hour to take the guy down.....

When there are good guys on the scene with guns lives are saved...as I showed you with the church shootings......

It is all about liberals attacking white conservatives, if you think it is racial that is your issue. It is more political, it is white conservatives that get attacked on this issue. Most conservatives hear the word "gun" and lose their minds. You cant have a sane conversation about gun control with them.

I grew up with guns in the house, and my father loves to hunt. I don't see the fun in killing animals, but I certainly understand why people would want home protection.

Yeah I would shoot a person before I shot an animal unless I need to eat it. i am a firm believer in home protection but not being petrified of my own shadow I see no need to carry a gun with me going to the grocery store.
