You see there'd this thing called moderate Americans. They're like 60% of Americans. The largest voting block of people in America. They (we) don't like radicals in either party. We're not party loyalist. So when one side get's radical (or just plain stupid), we look for people who aren't radical or stupid to vote for.

The infighting of the democratic party is only just beginning. The fact that Bill Maher is now coming out against the lefts radicals is, imo, a sign of things to come.
Moderate democrats are sick of the cancel culture. They've realize that the "woke" crowd is only dreaming they're away, the "Defund the police" movement turned out to be a disaster. The "trannies in sports" movement has brought a barrage of lawsuits from real females. And all the other drama these leftist radicals have pushed on the moderates is why the country will look like VA come 2022.
