President Trump under the below Treaty was legally asking a member of the below to help in a criminal matter.

MUTUAL LEGAL ASSISTANCE TREATIES WITH CYPRUS, EGYPT, FRANCE, GREECE, NIGERIA, ROMANIA, SOUTH AFRICA, UKRAINE AND THE INTER-AMERICAN CONVENTION ON MUTUAL ASSISTANCE IN CRIMINAL MATTERS WITH RELATED PROTOCOL

Eight mutual legal assistance treaties (``MLATs'') were submitted to the Senate during the 106th Congress. They include agreements with Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Romania, South Africa, and Ukraine.
The Inter-American Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters and its Optional Protocol were
submitted to the Senate during the 105th Congress. The MLAT with Nigeria was submitted to the Senate during the 102d Congress. If the agreements described in this report enter into force, they will join thirty-six existing MLATs already in force for the United States.
