It's a FEG (Hungary) H-P clone with the scarce vent rib. Around 500 were imported in 1985-86. The early ones were very well made and really nice shooters....If you paid them FEG could make you a very nice pistol....The fit and finish is on par to the ones that were Mauser branded that FEG made.

LOL......They made some right rough and ready ones later on in the 90s.

If memory serves they were around $225.00 back then, I gave $300 for this one and it came with a set of faux ivory grip panels and a FN holster made for the Israeli police H-Ps.

It's sorta odd-looking when compared to a normal H-P or clone

Nice score. Looks like it could stand a good cleaning, though...

LOL....Yeah, I did a field strip, clean, and lube and while I was about it I removed the magazine disconnect.

It took it from a sorta heavy 4# trigger to a very crisp 3# trigger. Of course the mags now drop free.

I put it back together and took it to my range and it shoots great! It only came with one factory mag but my other H-P mags worked fine in it. It's a keeper.

BTW.....It was made in '86 as the barrel was proofed/dated, not '85.
