Since there was never a popular vote election that had a popular vote campaign strategy with popular vote campaign stops and ads, you can tally up the total vote if you like but its meaningless. Nobody will ever know what the outcome of a popular vote in 2016 would have been IF there had been a popular vote election. Suggesting the 'popular vote' has any meaning is completely dishonest.

Never mind Trump won 1 million more votes than Hillary in 49 of 50 states. It was only California that Hillary won 4 million more votes than Trump.
