19 FORKEN degrees in Katy Texas!!!

23 and snowing.
23 looks like a heat wave compared to some of the other temps Ive seen posted here.

I want my globull warming!!!!!
Tied for the record low on this date in 1965!

It's 9 right now in Ohio, with a wind chill index of -1.

Stop whining. 19 right now would be a heat wave for us.

Yeah but you're used to it.
I couldnt tell you the last time we've seen the teens here.
The feels like temp is 9.

I recall back in 94 or 95 being on the panhandle in Florida when a bunch of rv's froze up. We were fortunate as we hadn't hooked any water outlets up so we did not freeze up.

Here in the Rocky Mountains we are in the negative Fahrenheit degrees.

To convert this into Centigrade you take the negative number and add negative 32 to it, then divide by 2 approximately.

So a -2 F equals about a -20 C.

In reality it equals -18.9C but you see how close this comes.

-2 feels more like -20 anyway.

I'm great with the cold until after Christmas and then I'm ready for Spring.

Too bad it's months away (sigh).

My problem is I grew up in the sun belt and Ohio winters have always been tough on me.

Thank God my garage is heated and AC'd or I'd freeze my balls off smoking my cigars!!!
Mine are covered with Jockey's, then longjohns, then sweatpants, then my skiing shell pants over that -- 4 layers.

And above my chest is covered with a T shirt, then sweatshirt, then thermal hoodie hunting jacket -- 3 layers.

Plus ski cap, plus ski gloves, plus 2 layers of sox and boots.

Breaks my heart.

I was born in Florida, then lived in California, now I am in the freezing snows of the Rocky Mountains.
