According to the IPCC, temperatures were cold in 1871, sea level was much lower, and the climate was much more stable.

The animated gif below compares 1871 sea level in La Jolla, California vs. a recent high tide picture. There has been no change.

America’s largest and deadliest forest fire occurred this weekend in 1871, after weeks of intense heat, drought and wind.

15 Oct 1904 – Historic Forest Fires.

Chicago burned this weekend in 1871.

Massive fires occurred in Minnesota in 1871

Florida was hit by two hurricanes within two weeks in August, 1871 – including a major hurricane. It has now been eight years since Florida was hit by any hurricane, and since the US was hit by a major hurricane.
In 1871, the New York Times was worried about climate change, just like they are now. Nothing has changed – intellectuals are just as stupid and misinformed as they always were.

You have been duped. That is a simple morphing of an old picture with a new one. Who knows what the tides were when the first picture was taken.

It is really obvious to see that it is a morphing. Look at the palm trees at the upper right. They do not grow, they simply fade in. The blogs you get your information from are lying to you, and you are buying it.

er, that's weather not climate, or is it the other way????

^ Guam still upright and above water

Is that supposed to explain why you were duped by your morphed image?
South Pacific was mapped early 16th Cent and all the Islands are still there and above water.
Time for a new theory
No surprise. What is a few centimeters sea rise supposed to do? Sink them? I don't think so.

Maybe you can tell me how we get ocean temperature reading accurate to a tenth of a degree back in 1880. So far Crick, Old Rocks and mamooth are mum on the topic

LMAO.....classic..........more AGW k00k losing!!!:2up::eusa_dance::eusa_dance::eusa_dance:

I'll tell you.......the more you find out about this shit, the more you realize we are really talking about some profound levels of thought process disorder in these people.

Imagine meeting somebody with their two front teeth missing and you tell them, "Dude.......get that fixed!!!"......and the response is, "WTF? I got a perfect smile!!". That's the level of disconnect we are talking here!!

Soetero is worried about people with guns? Shit......these are the types of people who need to be watched. This is domestic terrorism just waiting to happen.:ack-1:

I have no idea. I haven't looked into it.

15th post
OK, so you just take whatever they tell you on Faith
You are over-generalizing. When I say I have no idea about the data, that doesn't mean I accept it. I never said I agree with all of climate science. And you simply jump to conclusions!

The picture is over 130 years old...

The tree maybe, I don't know grew?

Ever hear of development?

Oh look the stairs weren't there in 1871 and how come no cars and a McDonald's?

Talk about being retarded.

What is the tidal range in La Jolla?

serveimage

Looks like seven goddamn feet.

How much has sea level risen since 1871? 200 mm = 7.87 inches. Even if the pictures were perfectly collimated, do you actually think you could see 7.87 inches at that distance? Give us a break and start using your ******* head.
