OK, so, we've got the Arizona supreme court making a recent ruling enforcing an anti-abortion law on their books since 1864 and the left are all up in arms over an 1864 law being used.

But

They seem perfectly fine with prosecuting Trump using a civil war era law from 1870:

and prosecuting Trump using yet another law dating back to 1917:

Can anyone say hypocrisy?

the speaker says "all opposed say no the ayes have it" all in one sentence. Doesn't even allow a proper vote.

Can't spell crazy without R-AZ.

The thing about the 1864 is that it is being used to allow the government to force full term gestation on all pregnant women with no exception for rape and incest.

The law was passed when women did not have a right to vote against or for the white Christian men who made the law.

Republican Arizona Senate hopeful Kari Lake, who lost to Hobbs in the 2022 gubernatorial election quickly distanced herself from the decision. •¥• “I speak to more Arizonans than anyone and it is abundantly clear that the pre-statehood law is out of step with Arizonans,” she said in a statement.

That's how voice votes are done in legislatures. UC's are even more streamlined.

If a recorded vote is wanted, an objection is raised. The speaker either orders the clerk to call the roll, or schedules the vote for later when other recorded votes are being taken.

Garden variety parliamentary procedure...
