I know nothing about Project 1619 and I do not want to.

But it is obvious that 1619 was a pivotal year in the history of the nation that came to be named the United States of America.

As we have witnessed since the 1960s, the social situation in this country is deteriorating and the nation may implode sometime in the next century because of the fatal mistake of forcing people to come here to work for free.

Anyone in 1619 should have known that it was a very, very, very bad idea and that it would eventually lead to tragedy for everyone (as the Civil War proved).

I think it’s more about how this event led blacks into our modern day ghettos. Racism didn’t stop the day we freed the slaves or past civil rights. The dream hasn’t been achieved yet. It won’t if you deny our past which led blacks to their present situation.
