Guns are the equalizer that allowed democratic republics to exist.
Gun control is hypocritical and treason.
It is hypocritical because it does not at all stop violent people, who should themselves be arrested instead of just denied by background checks.
And it is treason because by giving police and the military a monopoly on force, you ensure a return of the old feudal days where only the corrupt had any power.
Hey, the police are trained professionals, as are our members of the military service. Background checks before a police officer is hired and put on the streets with a gun and a use of force policy is intensive, and includes a written and oral psychological profile for HR to use as a guide.
Even then, most agencies put rookies on the street with a seasoned officer, who reports to the rooks Field Training Officer. At anytime during the rooks probationary period (in my agency, one year) the badge and gun can be taken away and no reason given ("sorry, not everyone is cut out for this job. Good-Bye - and there is no right to an appeal).
You are a traitor.
Paid professionals always do what those who sign their paycheck tell them to do, and a paid police and military is what always causes a dictatorship, like the KGB, Savik, Kapos, Gestapo, Stazi, Tantan Maque, etc.
And you are also a liar.
I have frequently seen police pull and point guns at people who are unarmed and not at all threatening, which is a felony.
The police can not legally do that. It is reckless endangerment to wave a gun in someone's direction, as it can easily go off just from a startling noise. The police are constantly in violation of the law. The way they drive even is conduct regardless of life. And they have no respect for the law. How many hundreds of illegal searches of vehicles have you seen them commit? The reality is the law requires a search warrant signed by a judge. Most cops are just crooks, and you know it. You are just lying.
It must be horrible to live where you do if "most cops" act in the way you describe.
Where I live the cops are respected members of the community and we appreciate them.
