Trump’s plan is working as designed. Once he gets countries to zero out tariffs, or at least agree to the same low rate for both parties, we will have long term trade agreements that put America in a much better position.

I endorse the results, not the tactics.

If it gets him and other countries to drop tariffs and trade barriers, great. But otherwise, just leave the tariffs alone.

We're the largest economy in the world, we should act like it. We can institute our own trade barriers too, we can make it nigh impossible for countries to trade here without having to jump hurdles. But what we don't have to do is incite economic chaos in the process.

So the largest economy in the world is 36 trillion dollars in debt and has to borrow every dollar we spend... not sure how that works... but I know it ends badly...

It's easy enough if you think about it.

Use our tax revenue to pay down the principal debt. I don't see why it has to be so hard for our government to do that.

That's what we do is pay the interest but there is not enough to do that according to some... and so we borrow for all the extras....

We spend twice what anyone else spends. Doesn't matter how much you make only the relation to how much you spend.

Not sure what you are disputing. We are the largest economy in the world.

But its built on a house of cards.... isn't that what dems have always said... why the sudden change?...

what's built on a house of cards? The economy?
Of course it is... 10 years and SS and Medicare goes broke... we borrow every dollar we spend at today's rates and its killing us... it is more than our annual Military and defense budget... our infrastructure is crumbling... if you ever traveled abroad it would be apparent to you.... and if you run your household like this I feel for ya....

By doing what? Strongly worded letters? This is why Trump kicks ass and you people suck ass. Tariffs are getting us what we want. Your fucking whining gets us what we always had.

Zero tariffs would mean there are 130 nations negotiating to be China's middleman.

A. We dont borrow every dollar we spend.

B. You are talking about how we run the government not the economy.

Rambunctious

It’s not really funny, it’s sad that you don’t understand the difference between the US economy and the manner in which we run the Government.
