13-year-old shot and killed during carjacking of federal officer in DC's Penn Quarter

And dickheads, like you, will ignore the fact that people are murdered in carjackings all of the time. Fuck these criminals. If the government refuses to do their job then the PEOPLE will.

And you have only yourself to blame.
Once again you miss the point. I wasn’t saying anything in support of the kid, but of the Capitol police officer that killed one of the J6 rioters and is being called a murderer. Similar instances, but you glossed right over the one inconvenient to your bias.

I know some of those who’ll cheer about protecting a car with deadly force still consider the officer that protected the Capitol to be a murderer!
These thugs are not using harsh language when they jack a car, they are armed and do not give a shit about the victims. You may be able to put yourself and other in danger hoping for the best but I will always choose my life and those I care about first over any piece of shit who thinks they can threaten me and mine.

Once again you’ve missed the point. People are lionizing this officer, while some are calling the Capitol police officer that killed a rioter, a murderer. Why is that? BTW, the kid wasn’t armed, so what was that irrelevant stuff about armed perps about? I think a lot of the difference in reaction is white woman vs black kid and excusing one, but not the other. Why?

That's because it WAS. She was wrapped in a fucking flag. She was no threat to ANYONE.

Another diverse bit of news in an enormous country where such things are bond to occur and have no major relationship to any particular theme. Not "guns", not "cars", not one side or the other of the duopoly, just typical dumb thieves and the consequences of stupid acts.
If anything, it is a further indictment of the extreme materialism of our culture.

How was the officer to know that? She could have been hiding a weapon behind the flag. When faced with that kind of provocation, I thought ‘stand your ground’ was the politically correct thing to do.

Because no one who was around her was afraid. And there were a lot.

Mar-a-Lago
Go do it!! PLEASE go do it!!!!

Washington D.C. refused to lock up this 13-year-old serial armed carjacker. Fortunately, a heroic law abiding gun owner shot and killed him.

12-Year-Old Accused in String of DC Armed Carjackings

May 5, 2023

A 12-year-old boy is charged in a string of armed carjackings in Southeast D.C., authorities say.

Not old enough to hold a driver's license, the boy was arrested and charged Thursday in connection to nine crimes over a six-week period in March and April. D.C. police say other people were involved in a number of the crimes.
Here’s what the Metropolitan Police Department says happened:

March 21, about 5 p.m.: The boy allegedly got out of a vehicle driven by someone else, approached someone in the 2300 block of Elvans Road SE and tried to take something from them. He assaulted the victim but did not take anything, police said.

April 16, about 10:30 p.m.: Multiple people approached someone getting into her vehicle in the 1700 block of Gainesville Street SE, brandished a handgun and ordered her to get out, police say. She complied and they took her vehicle.

April 17, about 6 p.m.: The boy got out of a sedan driven by someone else, approached someone getting out of their SUV in the 700 block of Seventh Street SE, brandished a handgun and demanded the keys, police say. The victim complied and the boy fled in the victim’s SUV as the other suspect fled in the sedan. A pet cat was in the stolen SUV, police said. The animal still has not been found.

April 20, about 11:45 p.m.: Multiple people approached someone who got out of their vehicle in the 2300 block of Pitts Place SE, brandished a handgun and demanded the keys, police say. The victim complied and the suspects tried to flee in the vehicle but were unable to. It was unclear why. They left on foot and then approached two other people in the same block. They showed a handgun, demanded property and fled in a stolen vehicle, police said.

April 21, about 10:15 p.m.: The boy got out of a vehicle driven by someone else and approached people sitting in a vehicle in the 2400 block of Pomeroy Road SE, police said. He brandished a handgun and demanded the vehicle. The victims got out and the boy took the vehicle as the other driver followed in the other vehicle.

April 24, about 8:20 p.m.: Multiple people approached victims in the 2300 block of Pomeroy Road SE, brandished a handgun and demanded a vehicle, police say. They fled without getting anything and then approached two other victims who were seated in a vehicle in the same block. They showed a gun again, demanded the keys and made off with the vehicle.

April 24, about 8:33 p.m.: Multiple people approached someone seated in their vehicle in the 1100 block of Eighth Street SE, showed a gun and demanded the keys. They made off with the vehicle.

April 25, about 2:10 p.m.: Multiple people approached someone in the 2400 block of Elvans Road SE, showed a gun and demanded property. They assaulted the person and left in the victim’s vehicle, police said.

April 29, about 12:03 a.m.: Multiple people approached someone in the 2300 block of Good Hope Road, showed a gun and demanded property. The victim complied and they made off in the victim’s vehicle, police said.
I lived in DC and left. Perverts all over Dupont Circle. Really disgusting types.
Racial tension constantly, Shitty school system. a disgusting city , and congress administers it. YEah

I was looking at the map, because I toured the area for a few weeks five years ago and I am very familiar with that area. That's a really dumb area to perpetrate a car-jacking, because it is full of police. The station and courts are all around the area. The NBA arena that's two blocks away has armed guards walking to work. There's usually plenty of cops on bikes in the area, because next to the arena a shopping mall.

Dumb area to car-jack - not that I know how to do it.

Criminals aren’t smart people. They are also absolutely certain that they are too smart to ever get caught.

People don’t give up their cars to unarmed criminals. If the kid wasn’t armed, his co-criminals were.
