I thought that the goal was to encourage the players to play their best. If that was the intention, such a thing will not happen if the players are throwing up.

Yeah, that's something that I have always wondered about. You know how they sometimes throw a girl cheerleader in the sky, and then catch her, and stuff like that? And there are other such gymnastic-like moves, too. But these maneuvers appear incredibly dangerous to me. What if, someone misses the girl? Maybe their arms slipped or hands slipped, or something like that, and the girl falls to the ground? She could injure herself, and sometimes maybe even badly.

What we will get with the NFL versions is anyone's guess.

They don't toss full grown NFL lady cheerleaders anywhere. They weigh too much. I've never noticed it?

Maybe they will as more males and trans are now showing up more? But I doubt it?

None (males lol!) were at my JHS or HS? Never even thought about it.
Only the hot chicks (those in the clique) got selected as the uniforms were in petite sizes.
