Even if the government abandons the Hawaiians, the American people should not.

They've been Americans for a long time. If nothing else, do it for Don Ho or IZ.

That was those peoples' homes that the government that they pay taxes to totally failed to protect.

Egregious failure of government, and a lot of the people in that town are/were natives.

Whoever is left in Lahaina deserves to be restored, and then some! And then monuments erected where those that didn't survive lived,

as a testament to government failure and to respect the humanity that those people had.

Like Indian sacred burial grounds.
