10 worst dining trends of the last decade

o now the galloping gourmet was no media ho...well he was till he found god and all

rocco was just beyond....ya know...

o i liked justin....what ever became of jeff smith...the frugal gourmet after his sous chef charged him with sexual harrassment...the chef being a guy

What a great article. Some of that food looked ridiculous. Foam? I'm sorry if they did that to me I'd find the chef and punch his lights out for that.

Ridicule is the most potent weapon against food wankery.

Oh and I hate communal dining. I've done it a couple of times and it's a major pain.

I'd like to add one:

The evaporation of anything resembling a dress code in high-end restaurants.

Nothing like cleaning up and dressing to go out for a great meal at a great steak house, only to get seated next to to some mouth breathing Bubba with the ripped dirty jeans, tee shirt with the sleeves cut off and the backward ball cap.

i am not much for the dress codes and i hate sharing a table with strangers....i dont think anywhere with a "children's menu" is fine dining....the concept of foam simply escapes me...

#6 rules.

It reminds me of Denis Leary in Demolition Man.
