It sort of depends on where one goes to college. I graduates and got my degree from a Jesuit run university in Milwaukee. Granted, I was an older student (started when I was 21) and went part-time (took me 7 years to get my degree) but rape and date rape never were an issue and rarely talked talked about. My oldest already graduated (traditional 4 year student) from the same place, and again, rape was never an issue.
