Youu just have to read up on what you have. Snakes for instance, some broomate over the winter, and can make it. I had four ball pythons would stop eating mid November, I would cut their heat 3/4's, and not feed them again until mid may. Maney of the rat, king, corn, and bull snakes will tolerate long cold winters,=.
