The swearing went good. The mom cried, the speeches weren't that bad, but they seemed to all focus on getting a job in the worst lawyer job market in US history. That left a bad taste in my mouth. But besides that it went fine.

Hi bones. I had a beagle kennel for 17 years so I know how expensive getting ortho surgery on a dog is. Had to do it several times over the years. I do think dogs look pretty funny when they get shaved for surgery though. Not poking fun of your doggies surgery - just his baldness. You're doing a good thing by getting him the care he needs. I had a dog once that I had paid over $900.00 surgery for and when she got all healed up I simply gave her away to a good home because she could no longer field trial. I think more of dogs than I do most people.
