in brooklyn, there are areas where temples and islamic centers share a common wall. i always think of it as mutually assured destruction. plus, they can eat the same foods.

That's neat. I didn't realize there was a large enough population to sustain a new temple where you are. Do you know if it's orthodox, conservative or reform? if it's reform, you should check it out... maybe find a cute jewish lawyer for your son.
