Your Version of a Perfect Political Climate or Society?!

.

Actually, I've seen quite a few lefties over the years who will admit to preferring something like a "benevolent dictatorship".

In their heart of hearts, they would be quite satisfied to be dictated to, to be satisfied with what the dictator provides, living a simple, subservient, low-key life in which we all work for a greater collective and want for little, all at the cost of certain freedoms and the ability to improve their own lives.

I guess I can see some attraction there, in some ways. Unfortunately, human nature being what it is, this notion truly is a utopia, a simplistic pipe dream, it can't happen. But these people are still willing to work towards it, trying to concentrate power in a central authority the best they can.

I suspect there are many more who won't articulate this desire, but still harbor it.

.

Their "visions" truly are fantasies of their own, limited design based on nothing but wishful thinking. They believe that voting for a Socialist Democrat will solve the world's (and their personal) problems.
There's a lot of wishful thinking in the Constitution. Don't knock it.

I'm not knocking the original Constitution. You can be certain of that.

Not at all. It doesn't enumerate unlimited powers to the govt. That's what really has you upset. Lets not kid ourselves.

We all seem to know what would be best for the USA (and the world) but no two people agree on what the word "best" means.

Please describe what your vision of a perfect society or civilization or utopia looks like. Who runs the show and what are their credentials? If your version of a "perfect society" isn't based on freedom and liberty then please explain why your model is superior to America's original Constitutional Republic.

How would we reach your goals? Force? Wishful thinking? Coercion? Bribery? Brainwashing? Other?

Are your goals realistic? Can mankind in it's current immoral (and often amoral) condition even come close to realizing your dream?

utopia-1-728.jpg
The perfect society was already built. It was flawless and it was utopia. It's called Constitutional government. Where the government actually obeys the law and the federal government is forced to adhere to the U.S. Constitution (which gives them 18 enumerated powers only).

Unfortunately, the cancer known as liberalism destroyed the U.S. by taking power away from the people and illegally handing it to the federal government (which has now turned into a monstrosity and is a complete and total disaster complete with a mind-boggling $17 trillion in debt).

This nation will continue to spiral into collapse as long as we are infected with liberalism and as long as we permit liberals to ignore the law while they Nazi-goose-step march their way to control and failure.

They're happy to be led around by the nose. Essentially, in bondage. Thats what they yearn for. It sure isn't freedom.
The freedom you want is anarchy, and they don't want to be led around, they want to be left in peace to live their lives without assholes like you trying to turn back the clocks.

No form of Gov't can survive the idiocy of human nature.

It must be Governed by men of Virtue, Honesty, and Moral Character......By men who will do what's right no matter the issue or the cost.

The Founders system of Gov't was one of the best documents in the history of man. Yet as people hungry for power have thwarted the true meaning and way it is supposed to work, it has gone astray from the original intent.............as has our country.

I'm not upset in the slightest, you are. The country evolved, and you haven't.

Where is the clock set currently? Are we in your "utopia?" Are we better off now that when we became a free people (free of despotism and dictatorships)?

No, no. I do not want anarchy. That's equally as bad as what you desire. I'm fine with our constitution. Your style of governance creates poverty, sickness, bondage, and sorrow.

The original alone with the original, simple Bill of Rights. When the power of the Federal Government was limited and the County in which a man lived was more powerful than the Federal Government. When States could govern themselves within the boundaries of that original Document.

A benevolent dictatorship does nothing of the kind. The entire point of it is to care for the needs of everyone while still getting something done. And the only way to do such a thing is from the top down, very top-down.

Well, they allowed the thing to be a amended for a reason, they didn't want us to have to throw it out and start all over, but that of course is long overdue.

Why would the goals need to be realistic on a thread that starts with a Utopia?

And the best way to govern society, a Benevolent Dictatorship.
You are a Liar and an a Troll............

You have no Honor, nor the Moral Fortitude to be in charge of a Lemonade stand.

Should you or someone like you ever create a Dictatorship in this country, MY UTOPIA would be MORE AMMO.

Your Boring me Paint.
