It was not so long ago that food was in such short supply that people ate or used every part of every slaughtered animal.

And there are STILL places in this world that they have no idea what it is like to eat a hamburger or a thick, juicy steak.

Sure, just like anything else, if you were raised eating something like that, it wouldn't be a big deal. However, I think it's a fair statement to say that not many people are raised eating bugs. Most people are not going to eat bugs as a "delicacy."
