Young American Jews Are Turning Away from the State of Israel

I'm not a lib. I was clear about what I meant, but to clarify if there was any doubt.

Palestinians, as a group, support leaders and groups with an stated agenda of committing genocide on the jews.

This type of behavior, and stated beliefs, lead me to conclude that they would not make good partners for Israeli jews in a joint democracy.

It is not reasonable to ask Israeli Jews to engage in civic politics with people that want to commit genocide on them.
They do not want to commit genocide, that is a fucking lie on your part. It is Israeli propaganda, so they have an excuse to continue the brutal, inhuman occupation of land that is not theirs.

The Palestinians are reacting like any occupied group by resisting any way they can. And that resistance, is legal. They have a right to defend themselves. An occupational force, cannot claim self defense.

Your denial of the long stated intent of the PLO and Hamas, is noted and laughed at.

I'm just saying this bullshit claim you fuckers keep making, is outdated and irrelevant. The PA and Hamas tried to create a unity government and become just a political organization, but Israel attacked.

Israel does not want peace.

How does the PA and Hamas "trying to create a unity government" change their long standing commitments to genocide?

If you take two genocidal organization and "unify" them, their genocidal commitments do not cancel each other out.

Indeed, considering that both organizations have been long committed to genocide of the Jews, just seeing them looking to combine into a larger and more powerful organization,

is perfect justification for Israel to attack.

Genocidal organizations merging and growing together and stronger is not the path to Peace.

NOt unless you are looking for the Peace of a Mass Grave.

They were creating a unity government to put aside their differences and leave behind their militant past and become solely a political movement. They even stated this was the goal.

Your post clearly shows, it doesn't matter what they do, they will not be allowed to seek peace. There is nothing they can say or do, where you will not make up a reason to attack.

Poor Jihadis who can't stop murdering each other...let's wear that poor kitten face and blame the infidels.

Q. Is it like the UN claiming that it's Israel's fault that Arabs beat their wives?

Jews who follow the heritage are naturally pro-Jews everywhere including in Israel itself.
That's as simple as it gets.
Political Zionism started exactly this way.

You can keep dumping irrelevant smilies...
Zionism and Judaism are two completely separate things.
:umno:
Zionism started with Orthodox Rabbis, initially it was a response
to a wave Arab Pogroms in the region:

Influence of the incident and reactions to it[edit]
The incident and its repercussions were considerable. According to Hasia R. Diner, in The Jews of the United States, 1654 to 2000, "For the Jews, the Damascus affair launched modern Jewish politics on an international scale, and for American Jews it represented their first effort at creating a distinctive political agenda. Just as the United States had used this affair to proclaim its presence on the global scale, so too did American Jews, in their newspapers and at mass meetings, announce to their coreligionists in France and England that they too ought to be thought of players in global Jewish diplomacy."[8]

According to Johannes Valentin Schwarz, the events also encouraged the growth of the modern Jewish press. "As a result, a sense of solidarity was evoked among the Jewish communities of Europe they had never experienced before. Thus, the Damascus Affair gave birth to modern Jewish press especially in Western Europe, such as to the long-lived papers Les Archives Israélites de France (1840-1935) in Paris or The Jewish Chronicle (1841 ff.) in London."[9]

One major repercussion of the 1840 Damascus Affair was the introduction in the Middle East of the French education system later integrated into Alliance Israélite Universelle. Following his 1840 visit to Damascus and review of the social and education system in Damascus, he decided to give all the Jews of the Ottoman Empire a European education based on the French model to replace the Arabic and Hebrew (mainly religious) curriculum. In a few generations, almost all of the Jewish minorities of the Middle East learned several languages (French, English, Italian & Hebrew among other) and acquired academic skills that proved extremely valuable to their subsequent integration in the World's economies and emigration to Western countries in the 20th century.[citation needed]

You can't end the occupation by hiding it. American Jews know this and they can see unsympathetic pricks like you and don't want any part of it.

It's the furthest from "not wanting to do anything with it".
American Jews are deeply involved in Israel.

Not according to the poll I provided in the OP.

The PEW research is pointing to exactly what I was talking about - heritage and intermarriage.
Has nothing to do with politics.

That far-left activists desperately attempting to appropriate this 200 year process as a false victory for their politics - only shows they have no real accomplishments to show.
And in spite the failed attempts at sabotage - Israel is creating new alliances, and prospers.

Wow. The genocidal terrorists SAID that they were going to put their violent past behind them?

Well, golly, I guess that settles it.

You can't cherrypick the facts. Here's what the poll showed...

n a major survey of American Jews by the Pew Research Center in 2013, for instance, only a quarter of Jews aged 18 to 29 believed that Netanyahu’s government was “making a sincere effort to bring about a peace settlement with the Palestinians.”

For many, their problem with Israel is not just its current prime minister, its government’s policies and its nearly 51-year-long occupation of the West Bank.

It is not only what Israel does that bothers them, but also what Israel is.

In a recent survey of Jews living in San Francisco’s Bay Area, just 40 percent of those between the ages of 18 to 34 said they were comfortable with the idea of a Jewish state.

That has nothing to do with inter-marriage. That is all politics.

No, it doesn't settle it, because the genocidal Israeli's won't allow it to be settled until they've killed every last one of them.

Cherry picking is exactly what You're attempting to do here.
A couple of sentences from here and there to make it look like a quarter=40%
You're stubbornly ignorant.

There's a reason why the only serious link in Your post - deals extensively with intermarriage and heritage, rather than politics.
