GW's record in his second term is not starting out very strong. If he continues along the path recently trodden by the White House and the Republican House and Senate, the Republicans will find themselves in deep kiemchee come the next election.
All the Democrats will have to do is try to find someone who is not a complete freak or a total loser, who can appeal to centrists and the Republicans will be toast. But then, come to think of it - it won't be all that easy for the Demos to find someone within their ranks who fits that bill.
But right now, Republicans better hope that Democrats finds another kerry. Because if events continue as they are, that may be their only hope for surviving the next election.
That isn't an easy task...
You know, I think it possible in a cycle or two, someone from the Libertarian bloggers is going to come up and be recognized or someone that is already out there, but doesn't have the $, will be noticed and thrust upon the scene.
Yeah, and I'd be glad to run, but since I'm a naturalized citizen, I can't. You'll have to do without me and Ahnuld in the Oval Office. <sigh>
Well you can be his/her Karl Rove.
