Fail. Wiretaps are looking for evidence of a crime. Security at the airport is looking to keep the public safe...again, no one complained previously until this current meltdown, therefore it is acceptable to society as a whole.

Just like you can be searched before entering a football game or a concert, so too can you be searched flying on a commercial jet.
