Ya Know, A State Electoral System By County Would Take Care Of This

No legal reason it couldn't be done. None at all. :muahaha:

NYT: Democrats’ Virginia Wins Are Not What They Seem

Yes, we all know that if voting was proportioned by land area, republicans would always win.

But land doesn't get a vote - people do.

But not via direct vote. In national elections, the states have the vote via the Electoral College.

It could be done at the state level using the same model.

Not that I expect it, but there is no legal reason it could not be done.

Ah, but there would be wailing and gnashing of teeth, eh?

There is no reason legal reason why it could not be done. There are, on the other hand, many political reasons why it could not be done.

You are welcome to whatever fantasies make you feel better about being a minority.

Just casting ideas. You never know what might come of them.

And how interesting. In what minority are you placing me?

The "red" minority.

The group will likely never win the popular vote again.

Perhaps. Now tell us how that is relevant, considering our system.
