You know......it's really becoming apparent that a lot of people do crimes on the spur of the moment.

Take this shining example for instance........

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- Coral Springs police said a surveillance video shows a husband who made a tearful plea for info on his missing wife dumping her car in a lake with her body inside.

Surya Sari-Prihatin Toha, 41, was reported missing on March 24 by her husband, 63-year-old Munawar Toha. Coral Springs police said she was last seen on March 23 when she took her children to Hunt Elementary School in her silver Daewoo.

Coral Springs police said that on Monday, the car was pulled from Crystal Lake, located in the 4100 block of Powerline Road, and a body believed to be that of Surya Toha was discovered inside. Police said the Medical Examiner's office will determine her cause of death.

The discovery came after Munawar Toha made a tearful plea for information on his missing wife at a news conference earlier that day.

"The truth is I have no clue where she is at the moment," Munawar Toha said at the news conference.

When asked what kind of parent his wife was, he appeared to break down.

"She is a good mother. She is a very good mother," Munawar Toha said.

Investigators said they believe the news conference was a front. Munawar Toha was arrested Tuesday and will be charged with first-degree murder, police said.

"I can say that his body language and his actions were not consistent with a grieving husband that had just lost his wife," said Detective Scott Meyers, of the Coral Springs Police Department.

A police hunch led to Munawar Toha's arrest. Officers went to the parking lot near Crystal Lake because it was near where Munawar Toha worked, and they discovered a hole in the fence. They took a boat out onto the water, but they could not find the car. That was when they looked up and saw a surveillance camera pointed directly at a hole in the fence.

"Detectives were actually able to get surveillance video from a warehouse located in the 4100 block of Powerline Road," said Joe McHugh of the Coral Springs Police Department. "The surveillance actually shows a person fitting the physical description of the suspect that we arrested pushing the vehicle that he owns as well as his wife owns inside Crystal Lake."

Isn't casing the area part of Criminal 101?

Yeah.......the cops said that they figured it out over a brain storming session. One of them asked where he could hide a car (he'd said that his car was missing as well), and one of them asked "what about a lake?"

They then found a place where a fence had a new hole through it, which just happened to be across the parking lot from a security camera in direct sight.

They put 2 and 2 together, and reviewed the tapes and took him to jail this morning.

In reviewing the news report, I can say for certain that Susan D'Aries body language and actions were consistent with a grieving woman that had just lost her neighbor.
