I don't blame you for leaving. She may not have wanted privacy, but if you didn't want to see what she was doing, you shouldn't have to. She should have just been glad that she had somewhere to do what she needed to do at all. Her wanting an audience only made her sound self centered.California has a law that says businesses have to provide a breastfeeding area that's not a toilet.
One of my clients started breastfeeding her baby. In my tiny office I didn't have a separate room so I told her to use my office and I would give her privacy. She didn't want privacy but I insisted. I left. I got in,my car and she watched as I toodled off down the street. I didn't come back for three hours.
