I don't know if FALL to their deaths is the correct term here...JUMPed, pushed, tossed over would be more accurate. Unless the mother was thinking that she was michael jackson and dangling the baby over with both falling---I just don't see how this happened.

Maybe the lady fell backwards with the child in her arms. I haven't been to a ball game in years but when I used to go to them, the lack of space in front of each row of seats made keeping your balance a challenge, especially when people were sitting in the seats that you were trying to get past.
