Just a guess, but Putin may call of his invasion when he takes Mariupol.Having done so, he will have secured a corridor from Donbas to Crimea and the Sea of Azov. It seems to be the only city Putin is determined to take judging by his stalled sieges of larger Ukrainian cities. Mariupol is also about half Russian speakers where the occupation would not be as difficult as Ukrainian-majority cities

Unlikely, but the whole idea of a siege involves being "stalled" while you wear your enemy down. Putin will not stop with the current administration alive and in power.
 
The WEF needs to take Putin out. He's the last world leader standing up to them. No matter Putin does or says this is as big to the WEF as getting Trump out of the WH. They think they'll "win" if they get Putin out
