Unfortunately, lots of folks don't care about freedom or even grasp what it is anymore, particularly today's youngsters, poor souls, their heads full of the mush dished out by the public education system.

and fox news and cnn have him at 55% and 54% approval ratings today, respectively, so i'd say that your asking if he would "sink the democrats" is, perhaps, wishful thinking.

It would seem a good Democrat stratedgy to sink the ship. Obama was a fool to win, and should have let republicans pick up the pieces. This continued Bush mess should be left to republicans.

But "Obama derangement syndrome" implies that one does not like Obama just because. I don't go for any Democrat, particularly the socialists at heart among them. I don't go for leftists, period. Your use of the term is nonsensical. Obama's Keynesianism is disastrous for this country.
