Will America Go Communist?

Communism has always been a disaster, and it always will be. Government isn't competent to run an economy.
Modern economies can't exist without government.
Your hysterical screed against communism doesn't change the fundamental nature of capitalism:

Capitalism Has A Metaphor — It’s A Cancer

"And it is "); background-size: 1px 1px; background-position: 0px calc(1em + 1px);">destroying the life supports of the Earth by creating global warming, top-soil losses, ocean acidification, nitrogen poisoning of waterways, and the mass extinction we are now in.

"Capitalism is a cancer and it is killing us.

"In this knowledge comes hope.

"If capitalism is a cancer we can apply what is known about treating this deadly disease to the political and economic systems that nurtured it into being.

"Cancer — at its core — is a process of deregulation for life-giving functions in the body.

"Programmed cell death tells the individual cells of the body that they have lived out their usefulness."

Have you considered the possibility you've outlived your usefulness?
Total horseshit.

You just confirmed it.
So did you

Communism has ALWAYS been put in place with weapons. Are you prepared for that?
Of course he is. George will be right their holding a gun to your head to make you produce.

Capitalism's main problem right now is that so many who think they're defending it are doing such a shitty job.

This pseudo/quasi-libertarianism that has consumed the GOP since the days of Reagan is making capitalism ripe for the picking.

These people really should be receiving Thank You cards from those who want socialism or communism, for the assistance.
.
How do you think capitalism will react if Bernie moves into the White House and he lifts restrictions on US imports of prescription drugs from Canada and bans the export of crude oil?
The American standard of living will go down, of course.

Lower prescription drug prices and cleaner water and air lower the American standard of living? Who told you that?

Yes they do, moron. Cleaning our air and water beyond the point of diminishing returns is immensely expensive. Price controls on drugs that eliminate profits means no new life saving drugs.

Clean air and water far outweigh any affect on the economy. To top it off it costs nothing to run a business cleanly....nothing. and big pharma is ripping us off like big oil.

You're an idiot. That's totally wrong.

So you are for contaminated unsafe air and water? Explain why. This ought to be good.

The cleaner the better. I can't imagine regressing economically, culturally, and environmentally like China.

No. Even so capitalism as we know it is a failure as a sustainable economic system

Right right right, because as we know it , this "failed" system has brought the world things like the personal computer, I phones etc.... that have increased the speed and ease of business in general, not to mention other technological advances in medicine and even the cars we drive. Evil capitalists like Henry Ford who "got rich" because they had the vision to create something would have been considered a criminal in your peoples' world, and locked away in a gulag someplace.
We are living in a system where growth is essential in a world with finite resources. There has to come a time when further growth is impossible, what then?
Solar power, mining of asteroids. For starters.

Not to mention, there is a planet in Mars, that we have hardly scratched the surface of. Of course technology is not there yet to begin exploration and or mining for minerals but its only a matter of time for there and beyond.

And someday the SUN will become a red giant and swallow the solar system, and what then??
The resources are probably not as finite as we imagine. As technology increases, the use of resources change.
Had not oil for fuel been implemented, every tree on the planet would have been cut down by now. Drip irrigation has also proven you can make farms out of desert. There are a lot of things that can be done that dont require crushing the entrepreneural spirit.

Don't point at Socialism, and then cry about Capitalism, when you didn't engage in it.

I'll point out we are ALL paying for QE4 Andy

~S~

Debatable. My understanding is that the QE4, is simply swapping assets for credits, and then swap them back.

Point being, that as long as the Fed sticks to the plan, there shouldn't be an inflationary effects that would harm the citizens by a decline in the value of the dollar.

Now that obviously could change, if the Fed then reduced capital reserve requirements, and the banks withdrew their reserves to use for investment, but that has not happened.

As a result.... thus far.... there has been no real monetary inflation.

Inflation has actually been somewhat lower, since engaging in QE1-4.

Big oil is ripping us off? By what possible measurement?

As for big pharma.... only partly true. There are examples, where government regulation has resulted in citizens being ripped off.

Other than that, quite frankly without Big Pharma, you wouldn't have any drugs to cry about being ripped off for.

Nope.

It's the banks walking into our treasury and taking our tax dollars

we are literally being ripped off

due to a failed fiat, failed economy, failed system...
