Jan 6th served several purposes....it effectively removed Trump from office, cut him off from his support base, and put a target on anyone who dares to protest what Democrats were about to do after Trump was gone and Democrats stole back congress. It was their way of taking away our right to protest.....infringing on our 1st Amendment rights.
