The truly sad thing is the Left has so poisoned the process of giving to others through its destructive ideology that trying to give someone a Hand up has become a demand to give a Handout instead.

...the real number is a nasty 16 percent.... And this 16 percent does not take into account the discouraged workers who have left the labor force.

We are creating an entrenched army of people for whom employment, that is to day full time serious work, that they can count on to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table, is never again going to happen.

We could solve this problem but we lack the political will to take on the masters for whom this situation is a boon.
