President Obama has been trying to come up with an economic plan to simply get him back to where unemployment was when he took office at 7.6%. Now here we are at 5 Trillion dollars later with 8.3% unemployment that's ACTUALLY 18.7% in terms of underemployment. How's that an improvement on the economy?

If he was serious about jobs, why did he choose unemployment extensions over the Keystone pipeline?

The president is sworn in at the end of Jan. The previous president's budget lasts until October. On the last day of Bush last budget, unemployment was 10.1%. The month Obama was sworn in, the country was losing jobs at the rate of 750,000 a MONTH.

He's gotten a lot more tax cuts than spending increases through congress, why should that balloon the deficit? It's almost like there is no difference between spending and tax cuts.

The GOP is of course trying to end the public education system as we know it. They want to get tax breaks for going to private schools and that will mean less funding for the public schools. That will hurt the masses and poorer schools. But the rich will go to great private schools.

This will not improve the public school systems, it will hurt them.

Why not instead just focus on our poorest areas and improve their schools?

Americans aren't behind the rest of the world in education when you take out our poorest school districts. If you live in a middle class community, you probably went to a good public school that provided you with a great education.
