Why the GOP will continue to stay on the "attack"

Seriously, what else are they going to run on?

The American people don't see even more tax cuts for the wealthy as the way to go.

"Prosperity though lower wages" doesn't resonate.

Outlaw birth control? Seriously?

Slash education? What about the kids?

Medical bills are the number one cause of bankruptcy so "no health care" is not something the average American sees as a "right". Instead, they see it as a "problem".

Republicans should stay away from foreign policy. After all, they let Bin Laden go. Obama not only took out Bin Laden, but most of the al Qaeda leadership. And did it no matter where Bin Laden was. Which was against Republican policy.

End the EPA? Like Michelle Bachmann said she would during the presidential debates? Seeing what's going on in China, a country that is now number one in birth defects, that seems like a losing strategy.

So what's left? What will Republicans run on that will be a "winning hand"?

We want to know.

The only thing Republicans need to run on is..

Are you better off today than when the Hope and Change was elected?

if answer NO...than vote to kick Obama and his Comrades in arms OUT.

Attacking the worst and most corrupt admin in our lifetime is a worthy cause.

I don't think you guys want to run on that. 4 years ago the economy was tanking and we were bleeding jobs. Fewer people had access to health care, we were mired in Iraq and Afghanistan and Bin Laden was still out there.

I'm pretty sure they will run on a platform of simple fiscal responsibility and Barack Obama's economic record and his total LACK of fiscal responsibility.

Obama will try to make the race about anything OTHER than his record...but hey, can you really blame the guy?

That also cuts both ways. For a lot of people, including myself, the answer is yes and republicans are not able to take a shred of credit, not that I give any president the entire blame or credit for the state of the economy.

Oh, and Deanie? Did you want to tell me which Republican it was that said they wanted to get rid of the first black American President before he was even elected? You seemed to RUN AWAY from that thread as soon as you were asked to back up that claim.

You want to know? Actually I know you don't really want to know but here goes anyway:

Seriously, what else are they going to run on?

Lots of things, but for brevity (that means I'm trying to keep this short) I'll just say we are running on "We're not obama". That is all that is necessary.

The American people don't see even more tax cuts for the wealthy as the way to go.

The American people know that we aren't looking to give tax cvuts to just the wealthy, we want tax cuts to everyone.

"Prosperity though lower wages" doesn't resonate.

People know that you cannot "spend your way to prosperity".

Outlaw birth control? Seriously?

People know that that is a lie.

Slash education? What about the kids?

Since the 50s more and more money is being spent on education yet kids in the US have fallen further and further behind. Money =/= education.

Medical bills are the number one cause of bankruptcy so "no health care" is not something the average American sees as a "right". Instead, they see it as a "problem".

Wrong. Americans see rising healthcare costs are a problem but they are smart enough to know that government control of healthcare is exactly the wrong way to go. That is why a majority of Americans are against obamacare.

Republicans should stay away from foreign policy. After all, they let Bin Laden go. Obama not only took out Bin Laden, but most of the al Qaeda leadership. And did it no matter where Bin Laden was. Which was against Republican policy.

So obama's foreign policy is killing?

Saying obama took out Bin Laden is a stupid as saying Richard Nixon landed on the moon. The GOP didn't let Bin Laden go, it was the efforts of the GOP that culminated in the intel that allowed the military to find out where he was.

End the EPA? Like Michelle Bachmann said she would during the presidential debates? Seeing what's going on in China, a country that is now number one in birth defects, that seems like a losing strategy.

So now Michelle Bachmann is the entire GOP now?

So what's left? What will Republicans run on that will be a "winning hand"?

We will run on the fact that obama is a failure and his policies are corrupt and ruinious. Unfortunately this cuntry is infested with brain-dead lefties like you who will vote for anything with a "D" after it's name.

Another in a long line of fail rdean threads.

That is some hilarious shit right there!

The GOP should run on this -

President Obama's proposed 2013 budget will forecast a $901 billion deficit for next year, falling far short of his goal to halve the deficit in four years.

The budget, an outline of which was released by the White House Friday night, will show a higher deficit this year than in 2011, up from $1.3 trillion to $1.33 trillion.

-$1,330,000,000,000.00... ! ! ! !

You want to know? Actually I know you don't really want to know but here goes anyway:

Pred, I think you need to take another look at the GOP leadership and the GOP nominees. They are calling for lowering the top tax bracket only. They are calling for cuts in education, and not just at the high school level. They have absolutely no plan, of any kind, that would help contain the cost of health care. Santorum wants no access to birth control for any woman, ever. Bachmann wants no EPA. Paul wants no ... well, everything. Ryan wants no Medicare. Many want no Social Security. And the list goes on.

Honestly, I don't think you're following your party too closely.

He's gotten a lot more tax cuts than spending increases through congress, why should that balloon the deficit? It's almost like there is no difference between spending and tax cuts.

Balloon the deficit?
That's fucking rich, asswipe.
He's gotten us -$1,330,000,000,000.00 in the hole since taking office.

Grab a tissue, Blame Booooooosh, and wipe the corners of your mouth assbrain.

It's going to be funny listening to you cry that Obama campaigned on blaming BOOOOOOOOSHHHHHHHHH after you lose badly taking that route.

Actually no, the budget deficit on the day he took office was $1.2T. If his 2013 budget has a deficit of $900B, that's an improvement over what Bush left.

Yes, it is an ELECTION year. Right now though, they are ripping each other to shreds. At least Romney congratulated Santorum on his "wins" in 3 states. Gingrich will not congratulate Romney thus far.
