The Democrat Party has easily won over the hearts and minds of their dependents by insuring them that the Democrat Party knows what is best for them and that they should trust the Democrat Party to look out for them. They have told their dependents that there is no need for them to worry about success or wealth because they can never achieve either because the odds are so stacked against them and that the Democrat Party will take the wealth derived from the successes of others and redistribute a portion of that wealth to them because they deserve it and those who earned it are greedy.

The sheer numbers of these losers and underachievers, gays and lesbians, Blacks, atheists, agnostics, transgenders, cowards who had rather surrender than fight for their freedom, are now so great that they exceed the numbers of those who work for a living, own businesses and contribute to society, and other decent citizens that the election of yet another Socialist is almost assured.

The fact is that freedom is a hard sell. People don't want freedom, they want security. They want a government that wipes their bottom and tucks them in at night. Most Americans are too stupid and timorous to appreciate anything as abstract as freedom. A check in the mail is about the most they can be expected to appreciate.
