DeSantis is not a Nazi – he is a fascist, however.

Nazism was a particular manifestation of fascism unique to Germany.

Conservativism is of course fascist, as is DeSantis – illiberal, anti-democratic, reactionary, nativist, and authoritarian.

The book bans, the attacks on gay and transgender Americans, and the attacks on private business are but a few examples of the fascism practiced by DeSantis and Florida Republicans.
