Why most conservatives don't trust the MSM...

You’re fucking deranged if you think it was designed for the tax cuts to add a trillion dollars to the debt for FY2018
And you're fucking deranged to think that we can fix what the last president broke without taking on debt....we are going to have to add to the debt in order to fix the broken Obamacare system...secure our deliberately broken borders...repair our intentionally ignored roads, bridges, and infrastructure...
You are barking up the wrong tree Faun...you should be angry at the last administration for not doing what they said they would do with the stimulus money...
Did you really think we could elect and give two terms to Obama...8 years with a socialist in the white house without paying a price? This is what your stupidity has brought us....this is our penalty for electing a moron because he was black...
Live with it...
Now we have an America first president...he will fix Obama's mess with you or without you...take your crying elsewhere....

Agree with everything PLUS Obama had TARP repaid $708 Billion including over $84B in profit to Federal Revenue!
TARPayback.png

Adding a trillion dollars of debt per year (on top of the existing debt increases) is your idea of making America great again?
After your man Obama it has to be done...we warned you...he was not spending the stimulus money the way it was meant and now we have to pay...I blame snowflakes like you...

REMEMBER Obama urged Congress go into further $800 billion stimulus for "shovel ready"!

President Obama urges Congress to pass the $800 billion-plus stimulus package, one of his favorite selling points is the thousands of projects nationwide that he calls "shovel ready" — meaning planning is complete, approvals are secured and people could be put to work right away once funding is in place.Nov 1, 2013
“I think we can get a lot of work done fast,” Mr. Obama, then the president-elect, said in December 2008, after meeting with governors. “All of them have projects that are shovel ready, that are going to require us to get the money out the door.”

20 months later...

But in a recent interview with Peter Baker for a cover story to be published Sunday in The New York Times Magazine, the president acknowledged what has become painfully obvious in last 20 months: “shovel ready” didn’t mean what he and most people thought it did.

But the problem is,” he continued, “is that spending it out takes a long time, because there’s really nothing — there’s no such thing as shovel-ready projects.”
The Reason That Shovel Ready Stimulus Didn't Work Is That There Wasn't Any Stimulus

Remember this is from the guy who told us in his autobiography...

One of my Senators (R-Insurance) responded to an email, telling me the tax cuts were needed to "jump-start the stagnant economy", when we were at full employment. Complete bullshit.
We are nearly at full employment now...for the first time in years....Thanks to Trump and his tax cuts and regulation cuts...just last month Trump undid 18 Obama era regulations in one morning on housing and banking....if you are reading history revision by a dishonest media ...I would suggest you stop...

So the President Trump scores low on University of Missouri journalism institute’s trustworthiness survey
Trusting News Project Report 2017

More than two-thirds of those sampled (67.3%) reported being “likely”
(34.8%) or “very likely”
(32.5%) to believe mainstream journalism organizations
while 32.7% or respondents reported being “unlikely” (17.3%) or “very unlikely” (15.3%).
Data were collected in the February and March 2017 using an online survey made available to users (N = 8,728) of the digital media platforms of twenty-eight different newsrooms across the United States.

So the authors congratulate themselves on supposedly so scientific so methodical research...
YEA...
So here is what they explain as to how they came up with the figures...
In addition to the demographic variables described above, respondents were asked to report their political ideology on a 5-point scale ranging from 1 (very conservative) to 5 (very liberal).
The distribution for political ideology can be seen in the bar plot below.
Overall, the sample leaned slighly liberal (M = 3.41, SD = 1.03), which could be a reflection of the specific newsrooms participating in the current investigation,
a tendency to among conservatives to avoid surveys conducted by “the media,” or a general preference among conservatives toward less mainstrean news sources. Future research conducted in collaboration with newsrooms should incorporate experimental and/or longitudinal study designs to better explain systematic differences in online samples.

So 8,728 people polled breaks down this way:
  • very conservative 0.25% 22 people
  • conservative 15.0% 1,309
  • moderate 32.0% 2,793
  • liberal 32.0% 2,793
  • very liberal 15.0% 1,309

Totals
conservative/very conservative 1,331
Liberal/very liberal 4,102...
Think about it folks.. 3 times the number of liberals compared to conservatives!

That’s because Obama inherited a trillion dollar deficit along with a massive recession and falling revenue which added to it. Whereas Obama handed trump a good economy with rising revenue. There’s no reason for s $2 trillion deficit in a good economy.

Right, but when ISIS barry turned it over to Trump the budget was balanced...

Oh wait, Barry added $10 trillion to the debt and massively increased the deficit.

:lmao:

Li'l Kim, you may be a fraud and a liar, but hey, at least you're a worthless pile of shit.
You know you're insane, right? Obama did not massively increase the deficit. His first budget was shared with Bush because Bush didn't even hand him a budget. Bush signed a continuing resolution for the first half of FY2009. The projected deficit by then was already $1.2 trillion. Obama took over from there. His last budget produced a deficit of $671 billion.

Take notice, in particular, to what Trump's first budget is doing to the national debt. That figure is annualized based on the debt so far this year from (10/1/2017 - 12/31/2017) + (1/1/2018 - current). I separated it by debt increases before and after Trump's tax cuts went into effect.

America is already great. This is just fucking us over.

Ok I'm a little late to the party on this one, but you do realize Obama added 10 trillion in 8 years, meaning MORE than 1 trillion a year? Can you link to your post during the Obama administration complaining about Obama's increase in the debt? I'd like to read it.

Thanks.
You misunderstood what I had said. I didn't say Trump was on pace to add one trillion dollars to the debt in FY2018 ... I said he was ontarget to add an additional one trillion dollars to the debt on top of the one trillion we were on pace to set before his tax cuts went into effect -- for a total of $2 trillion added to the debt.

However, that figure has thankfully changed drastically since I posted that. The current trajectory puts us on pace to add $1,220,808,475,250 to the debt for FY2018.

Debt to the Penny (Daily History Search Application)

I'm definitely not happy with the debt Trump is running up. BUT for the price, we're getting a raging economy. For the price under Obama we got a doubling of food stamp participants.

Too fucking stupid. :cuckoo:

The deficit is not a payment towards prosperity. In fact, it's the polar opposite as deficits run higher in recessions and lower, potentially even run a surplus, during a good economy. Which makes Trump's deficit even worse than it is as there is no excuse for it.

No it's the cost of prosperity.

Or in the case of Obama, the cost of an 8 year period of time where the economy did nothing.

Trump has added 7 trillion in wealth, and 1.2 trillion in debt.

I'll take that anyday.

The lowest the deficit has been in my lifetime was under Clinton, when we were prosperous. The highest it's been was during Bush's Great Recession. Federal deficits are the result of the government spending more than they collect from taxes. That's not a cost of prosperity.

IS THERE ANY Wonder why we conservatives DON"T TRUST THE MSM!!!

Any poll can be misrepresentative of its focus....That is why I never recognize them or participate in them.
Fraud': Mainstream polls use 29% more Democrats than Republicans
The report shows that the mainstream polls oversample an average of 29 percent more Democrats than Republicans and the results skew anti-Trump. The result is that it robs Trump of about 8 points in his approval ratings, from 46 percent to 38 percent, it said.

'Fraud': Mainstream polls use 29% more Democrats than Republicans

Now I know some people say well that's because there are more democrats than Republican.
Hmmm...

Party Affiliation
Only 3% more Democrats but then why does the MSM pollsters count 29% More democrats?
BIAS!

Rightards are such idiots.

Rightard, more respondents polled are Democrats than Republicans because more Americans generally consider themselves as Democrats than Republicans...

Party Affiliation

... and more Democrats than Republicans tend to cast votes in elections, like in 2016...

2016 election results: National Exit polls

What would skew the polls would be if pollsters selectively picked an even number of Republicans as Democrats since that is not the actual demographics of the country.

So far for this month, Americans, on average, rate Trump's approval at 42%. There is no spin you can apply to change that.

Did you not read the chart that the pew poll showed?
The below was as of May 2018... Where did you come up with More Americans consider being Democrats when the below chart shows only 3% more than GOP!
NOT 29% more Democrats as the MSM polls use.

WTF is wrong with you? This is why the numbers you post are bullshit -- you don't even understand the basics of mathematics.

You're conflating points with percentages. What a fucking moron you are. :eusa_doh:

The Gallup poll I posted didn't show a difference of 3 percent -- it showed a difference of 3 points.

That equates to 12% spread for May and a 21% spread for April.
