Ilegal gun possession in New York....3 years.

Use a gun and you are done policy in L.A....use a gun for a crime, shoot a gun for a crime...10 years added to whatever sentence you have for the original crime....

Chicago....illegal gun possession repeat offender...1 year.....

This is from the Top Cop in Chicago today on the Dan and Amy show interview about why chicago has a higher murder rate than L.A. and New York..........

And it goes to exactly what pro 2nd Amendment people keep telling you anti gunners......

licensing law abiding gun owners...does nothing to stop crime with guns...

registering guns...does nothing to stop crime with guns...

universal background checks, will do nothing to stop crime with guns...

What lowers gun murder rates...locking up gun criminals.....

If you want to hear the interview you can go to the Dan and Amy show 560 a.m. Chicago, podcast....it was today 9/7/17 at the 8:30 hour.....

So they need more prisons in Illinois and more jails in Chicago. Do you know how expensive your ideas are? They may work but they can't even afford their schools at this point and didn't I hear Illinois is close to bankruptcy? Maybe it was another "I" state.

Yes......Illinois has no money....so they keep spending it on things we don't need....like ornamental flower pots and railings......

I thought you guys cared about gun murder? Yet you would rather do things that don't stop actual gun murder....licensing gun owners who don't commit murder...registering guns that won't stop gun murder, and universal background checks that won't stop gun murder...vs....actually stopping gun murder by locking up felons caught with illegal guns before they murder someone, and discouraging criminals from shooting other people with longer jail sentences for gun crimes....

Which is it....? Do you want to reduce gun murder, or do you just want to increase the paperwork on people who don't use guns to commit gun crimes?
