Christianity is associated with the reigning power structure and white males. These are both seen as bearers of 'old world' ideals and barriers to the struggle which the left is pitted against. Socialism exists in a state of constant struggle. The tearing down of the barriers to progress (White dominated culture and it's Christian underpinnings) to a perfect society is integral to the success of it.

The web is so cluttered up, real news is hard to find especially for average folks who are already distracted, dumbed-down with misinformation and/or too busy working to bother being involved with politics. Typically in a genocide, if the group you claim is committing genocide is dying at an exponentially far higher number, it’s not a genocide.
