    Less and cheaper medical equipment.
    Fewer new drugs.
    Long lines.

There are lots of things we could do to make our healthcare system cheaper....and worse.

Blahous’ report also shows that total U.S. health care spending would fall by about $2.05 trillion during that time period, even as all Americans would finally have insurance, because the plan would reduce payments to doctors and hospitals to Medicare rates

Increasing demand while reducing supply......What could go wrong?

Putting ideology over people is exactly what was wrong with Hitler and Stalin.
By calling something "socialist", ideologues can reject it without further thought. Whereas "capitalism" is not an ideology, only an economic form that can be modified as wanted. The question, when approaching economics, should simply be, "what is best for the greatest number of people". After all, value itself comes from the human mind.

Not when it comes to law. The law isn't there to score benes for the majority. It's there to protect our rights when we interact in society. It's what makes it possible for us to collaborate as a society - voluntarily. It shouldn't be a vehicle to force the majority's will on the rest of us.
