Why I keep my assault rifles...

Women being assaulted while walking in a park wouldn't think it's extreme to be armed. And that happens, frequently.

People being pulled out of their vehicle and pummeled with bricks during a "localized" riot wouldn't think it's extreme to be armed. And that happens.

Why do you live in abject terror of firearms? How likely do you really think it is that you will be shot by a gang of feral guns?

Again. Not scared of guns. Scared of unchecked gun nuts like you.

And your paranoia is misplaced. I don't own any guns, but I certainly don't want a potential assailant or burglar to be certain of that, nor do I want one of them to be certain that my wife was disarmed by those who jump at their own shadows who would demand that she perform her home visits for work unarmed.

See how silly you sound when you try to insult based on weak assumption? You literally have nothing to fear from me or from concealed carry permit holders, yet you freely admit being "scared" of perhaps the most law abiding citizens out there.

I don't recall ever being against concealed carry permit holders. They have at least shown some responsibility in getting the permit. I do have a problem with gun nuts who strap a gun to their leg in a bad imitation of John Wayne, and prance up and down the isles of Walmart. Many hoping for an opportunity to be macho and shoot someone. For them, the gun is a fashion statement more than anything else.

Think about what you said. You said, "Many hoping for an opportunity to be macho and shoot someone", but at the same time you also said, "The gun is a fashion statement more than anything else". Obviously, you have no credible way of knowing whether they actually want to shoot someone or if they're just carrying around an empty rifle to look cool and would run away like an unarmed liberal if confronted with a deadly situation, but you're claiming both simultaneously.

Now, do you not realize that, in the case of a yahoo carrying a rifle strapped to his leg, you can easily see it and simply avoid being in his general vicinity, much like sane people avoid pink vagina hats? Also, how many times have you gone to Walmart and see somebody with a gun strapped to his leg? If never (as I suspect), why are you afraid of them?

Quite frankly, I'm not aware of a gun-totin' yahoo at Walmart unstrapping a rifle from their leg and committing a mass shooting.

I wasn't referring to rifles you dumb ass. However, strapping on an empty gun can be nothing more than a fashion statement

In that case you have nothing to fear from such a person. They're a braggart and should simply be ignored until they go away.

Now, how often do you go into Walmart and see people openly carrying weapons?

The gun nuts are all scared of something... that will never happen.

Want to take a guess why it will never happen?

I'll give you a clue...

You just made up my mind for my next build. What's the barrel length on that beauty?

Not sure. It's just a picture I pulled off the internet. Nice AR though.

Yeah, right, like they're going to hold off the government with their little pop guns.

:21::21::21::21:

If they're such ineffective little "pop guns", why would you want them banned? You do know that most any commercially-available AR rifle is what the police carry in their cruisers, right? So how would a citizen be out-gunned by the police?

You also know that most any commercially-available AR rifle is almost identical to what the military is issued, right? So how would a citizen be out-gunned by the military?

Of course the military also has heavy weapons but consider for instance, the nasty scenario of the government attacking civilians: What's to stop people from shooting those soldiers, and simply taking their heavy weapons away from them?

God forbid should a scenario like that ever happen, but Americans are not a people who would just lay down and die. You know nothing about your own history if you can't comprehend a concept like that.

Lol
Says a fucking fool

Unless you are a cop or military, fear is the only reason to feel the need to be armed 24/7. Of course, many do it as a fashion statement. That's not a reason, it's an excuse.
Lol
Whether someone is armed or not it’s none of your fucking business and certainly none of the federal government business

That's just not true, no matter how much you say it.
Lol
Someone else’s firearm ownership is none of your fucking business, and certainly none of the federal governments business.
you need to stay out of other peoples personal lives you sick motherfucker

Telling someone to stay out of other people's personal lives is a hilarious admonishment coming from a right-winger.

I'm a right-winger. When did I ever involve myself in your personal life?

Personally, I don't give a crap what you do. But come for my guns and you're going to have problems that won't buff out very easily.

Its not pleasant business but if streets riot and the stores empty, gangs of formerly nice people will gather weapons and supplies along the way. They ARE for killing people. Sorry, I want the options, just as in 1776 my link is the NRA & #2

I thought you were going to say for assaulting.
I did.

That's the one thing everyone forgets. The 2nd wasn't about deer hunting, it was the citizens insurance against an oppressive government.
well said my friend like the country to be born... elegant in it's (our) simplicity.

I have 30 AR-15s now in addition to other "assault" weapons.

I have them for these reasons:

1. I enjoy collecting them.

2. I enjoy building them.

3. I enjoy shooting them.

4. They can serve as a defensive weapon if need be.

5. They can serve as a determent to an oppressive government if need be.

However, since the Bill of Rights says that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed I don't have to justify owning them to anybody.
And you have enough to share with your liberal friends may they appear at your door.

I don't have any Liberal friends. Liberals are assholes, dishonest and untrustworthy. Not good friend material.
thats why were here amigo im not very happy with the left either.

I have my guns (some with 30 round mags) and they are NOT for deer hunting. These Rosie ODonnel types that think we need single shot rifles for deer are bonkers. I have my AR's for defense against the government. I have my auto loading pistols (some with 16 round capacity) for fighting my way back to my rifle.

You lefty's out there asking what I am scared of have no idea. I am NOT scared when I have my weapons cleaned and in ready to go in a moments notice.

I also am NOT dialing 911 when the thugs bust in my front door (after they bust in I will call for "cleanup"). When less than seconds count, you go ahead and reach for your iPhone10 and see where that gets you.

Did you hear about the attempted home invasion in Lithia Florida a couple of weeks ago?

A couple of thugs broke forced their way into the house and beat up the husband. The eight months pregnant wife was able to get to the AR-15 and kill one of the thugs and chase the other one off. Thank god for her firepower. She probably saved the her life, the husband's and the baby's life.

Braggarts are known for saying and doing ridiculous things when their lies are questioned. I've seen the idiots at Walmart. I've even seen them at little girl's T-ball games.

It’s a damn fool thing to give evidence against yourself in a public forum.

I keep my assault rifles because I like them, because they’re fun to shoot, because they’re accurate and reliable.

The killing of my fellow Americans not required.
But it might be.
No, it won't.

But you're entitled to your delusions.
thanks for permission to be American, i'll keep my "delusions" loaded by the front door.

It doesn't have to be an apocalypse to be grateful you're armed. People die in "localized riots", despite your attempt to minimize their effects.

There doesn't have to be an Ebola epidemic to be grateful there's a sneeze guard on the salad bar.

There doesn't have to be an AIDS epidemic to be grateful your daughter was armed that night she was assaulted in the park.

IOW, there's no need for anything extreme or exaggerated to be grateful you're armed.

No need to expect anything extreme for you to think an extreme response is called for. Typical gun nut.

Women being assaulted while walking in a park wouldn't think it's extreme to be armed. And that happens, frequently.

People being pulled out of their vehicle and pummeled with bricks during a "localized" riot wouldn't think it's extreme to be armed. And that happens.

Your need to feel safe doesn't trumps a person rights

My right to be safe from crazies like you trump's your right to play Rambo
there's a right to play rambo ? also feeling safe and being safe may diverge.

Another dooms day gun nut.
You really believe that will happen? Really? You've been watching too much TV

No, he has been watching Venezuela and Mexico......and D.C., Baltimore, Chicago, St. Louis, and all the other democrat voting districts where criminals are released over and over again...

talk to me a little bit about the flag... what's the deal ? what does it mean to you ?
