As I said before...the only thing that is in question is whether Rice was in on the lie or simply too naive to realize that she was getting used by Obama and Clinton.

That the extremists with heavy weapons were the ones who attacked, not a mob of protesters like the ones in Egypt. You know the bold part of her statement on Meet the Press. Recall that by Sept 16th deadly riots had sprung up all over the globe over that video. Even now some of the attackers say they were motivated by the video. So there were no protests the extremist joined in on, they just came with weapons to the consulate to attack and for some it was because of the video.

The real travesty is the way Romney politicized the events and tried to denigrate the President while the attacks were ongoing.

But that was all response after the fact. The other Rice knowingly deceived the public with known lies about the Aluminum tubes. Those lies cost many soldiers their lives, yet nary a peep from the so called liberal media about her role in the deception and she was soon confirmed as SoS.

What's amusing is that you really think a hundred men armed with mortars and assault rifles just "showed up" at the consulate on 9/11 at the same time and on the spur of the moment organized a coordinated attack on the grounds from different directions...and this was all due to a You Tube video!

The real travesty was how the Clinton State Department and the Obama White House were more concerned about protecting themselves from political fall out from the assassination of our Ambassador and three other Americans than they were about sending help to those under attack!

When did we go from what Rice said to what I think? They had several hours to plan and coordinate their attack. They hate us over there. They don't need much of a reason to riot against the West and especially the USA. A cartoon, a book a video, whatever their Mullah tells them. Furthermore the President gave the orders to his commanders to use every available resource to help those people as soon as he was informed of the attack and their position.

I don't care how much you WANT Benghazi to be a "riot" or a "protest", Boo...it wasn't! It was a well planned terrorist attack by a heavily armed Al Queda affiliated group on 9/11. The real travesty is that our State Department was so poorly prepared for something like this even though the writing was on the wall for months leading up to the attacks that Benghazi was becoming increasingly dangerous. Hillary Clinton ignored that because it didn't fit the picture that she and Barry were painting of Libya being one of their "success" stories.

As for what Obama "says"? If he gave orders to his commanders to use every available resource as soon as he was informed of the attack then kindly explain why those orders were ignored? We did NOT use every available resource. We didn't scramble air support. We didn't send the rapid response team from Italy. Why didn't that happen if Barry REALLY gave those orders?

Sec. Clinton didn't send the ambassador to Benghazi.

Furthermore their testimony is a matter of record as to why they did what they did.

Since all available DOD assets were NOT sent to respond to the attack...is Leon Panetta a liar? Did Panetta and Dempsey simply ignore a Presidential order? Did the military ignore the President, the Secretary of Defense and the Head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff?

Read Panetta's testimony carefully and note that he quite clearly states that rapid response teams were ordered to "prepare to deploy" but not that they were deployed. So would you like to explain to me why a "rapid response" force never deployed? Why none of the forces that Panetta named ever LEFT for Libya let alone arrived there? Panetta makes the claim that it was impossible for the military to get an armed aircraft over Benghazi "in time" to help defend those Americans under attack. Would you like to explain why no aircraft was sent given that nobody had any idea how long the conflict might take? How do you determine that air assets can't arrive in time...WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW HOW LONG THE BATTLE IS GOING TO BE!!!

Would that be the same Senate Select Committee that came to the conclusion in a Senate homeland security report that said "the State Department made a “grievous mistake” in keeping the Benghazi facility open given the “dangerous threat environment” in Benghazi in the months leading up to the attack? The ARB report said “systemic failures” and leadership “deficiencies” caused the State Department to ignore “repeated requests” for additional security staffing in Libya, leaving the Benghazi facility “grossly inadequate to deal with the attack.” That's Hillary Clinton's State Department!

As for the rest of that whitewash? Anyone that buys the story that the US military couldn't get a plane over head to provide cover to the Annex ten hours after the initial attack is woefully naive. Anyone buying the excuse that the FBI couldn't investigate the Consulate or Annex grounds for weeks after the attacks because it was too dangerous has their heads buried in the sand. Anyone who thinks that a real effort has been made to bring the people behind those attacks to justice since the attacks is even more naive. And anyone who thinks that a committee that didn't have the people who were there on the ground fighting, testify in front of them (and all of them except one did NOT call those operators who were in Benghazi to testify!) really wanted the truth about what happened that night is laughably naive!
