Is it because we have a mere Federal government that has few of the powers that states have?

Obviously liberals have perverted our Constitution which was designed to keep liberal central governemnt at bay. What we can do about it is vote Republican and eventually move to make liberalism illegal even more clearly than the Constitution does.

What nonsense. If that were true, we'd still be living under the Articles of Confederation.
