My son had an allergic reaction to hazel nuts on Friday night. Threw up and broke out in a rash. Took him to the local A&E, they observed him for three hours, let him go. Didn't cost a cent...oh, woe is me...'socialised' medicine....
Not sure what an A&E is so need some explanation on that.
But for the rest of your post you obviously don't provide insurance for your child. Not your job it's someone else's right?
Didn't cost you a cent though and that's the important thing. You didn't have to pay anything for someone to "observe" your child's allergic reaction yet they didn't really do anything other than sit there and watch to see if he dies or not. Health issue resolved? No not really but hey he was "observed" and luckily got sent home with no explanation of what happened or how to prevent it in the future but yay for you, it cost you nothing!
This is socialized medicine at it's most basic function and what you people are hoping for. Not a solution, not a diagnosis but rather an observation that doesn't cost you anything.
